This tasty vegan kebab was made from just a few ingredients and whipped up in 10-15 minutes.
On a recent trip to Norwich, our friends introduced us to a shop called Little Shop of Vegans, just outside the town centre. The shop, as it’s name suggests, is small but it sells a whole range of goodies. From fresh pastries & cakes made by the local vegan baker Food! by Lizzi, to squirty soya cream, frozen ready made pizzas and these beautiful refridgerated kebabs.
This is the vegan kebab packaging; made by a company called Veggyness, possibly based in Germany. This kebab is made from the very popular mock meat Seitan which is made from vital wheat gluten and spices.
I used 2 packets for my husband and myself and managed to make our kebabs in about 10-15 minutes.
Seitan Kebab For Two
- 2x Veggyness kebabs
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 head of lettuce
- 2 small carrots
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 spring onions
- 4 x wraps
- Sauce of your choice
- Heat up 1tsp oil in a pan and empty the kebab meat into it. Use a knife and fork to break it apart. Cook on a medium heat until browned (while you prepare the salad)
- Wash and chop the lettuce, spring onions, tomatoes and grate the carrot. Place the salad onto the plates. Make sure you keep the kebab meat moving in the pan so it gets evenly cooked.
- Serve up with wraps on the side. Check out the sauce below; I highly recommend it.

All the best,
